Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Poofbox, a service operated by Individual Entrepreneur BLANKET BYTE (I.E. BLANKET BYTE, identification number 305834292, Tbilisi, Georgia, "we"). By subscribing or using the service you agree to them.

1. The service

Poofbox provides disposable, receive-only email addresses ("mailboxes") with a web dashboard and an MCP server so that software agents can create mailboxes and read the email they receive. Poofbox cannot send email.

2. Plans, price and payment

• Poofbox is sold as a yearly subscription: Personal €9.99 or Pro €34.99 per year, plus applicable VAT. The plan limits are listed on our website.
• The subscription renews automatically every year at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel any time in the billing portal (linked from your dashboard); you keep access until the end of the year you have paid for.
• You can upgrade from Personal to Pro at any time; the prorated difference for the rest of the current year is charged immediately. Downgrades take effect only by cancelling and subscribing to the other plan after the paid year ends.
• One subscription per email address.
• Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as merchant of record and issues your invoices. Card details are entered on Creem's checkout and never reach us.
• After payment we issue you a license key, shown once on screen and sent to your purchase email. This key is your login token.

3. Your token

The license key is the only credential for your account: there is no username or password. Keep it secret and safe; anyone who has it can use your account. If you lose it, use “Recover license key” on our website: we send a one-time link to your purchase email that gives you a new key, and the old key stops working. If you no longer have access to that email, contact poofbox@blanketbyte.com; we may issue a replacement key after verifying the purchase.

4. End of access and deletion

• Access continues while your subscription is paid. If a renewal payment fails, access continues for a grace period of 7 days while the payment is retried.
• When access ends (after cancellation, a failed renewal or a refund), your account and all its data (mailboxes, emails, attachments, connected apps and tokens) are deleted permanently and cannot be restored.

5. Limits

Each plan has limits on active mailboxes, daily mailbox creation, emails and storage per mailbox, total storage and parallel waits, as listed on our website. When a storage limit is reached, the oldest emails are removed. Messages larger than 10 MB are rejected. Addresses are generated randomly and are never reused once deleted. We may adjust technical limits to protect the service.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use Poofbox for anything illegal, for fraud, for mass or automated creation of accounts on third-party services in violation of their terms, to evade bans, for spam, harassment or to receive material that is illegal to possess. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, without refund.

7. Third-party services and domains

We do not guarantee that any website or service will accept Poofbox addresses or deliver email to them. We use several mail domains and may add, remove or replace them over time; mailboxes on a removed domain stop receiving mail.

8. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Because Poofbox is a digital service provided immediately, at checkout you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the license key is delivered. You can still cancel the subscription at any time to stop future renewals. Refunds are otherwise at our discretion; a refund ends access and deletes the account.

9. Availability

We work to keep Poofbox available and secure but provide it "as is", without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or that every email will arrive.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the current subscription year. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes for existing subscribers will be announced on this page before they take effect at your next renewal.

12. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. Contact: poofbox@blanketbyte.com.
